I Can Trust You

I Dont know why it took me so damn long to write this chapter but here it is. @PinkMunyBarbie and @ItsMarthaBitch probably gone be mad cause its not as long as they probably want...but *shrugs* Enjoy...




"Baby please just listen to what I have to say!" Nicki said.


Nicki had been trying to talk to SB every since they got home. When Drake told him that she was the one who actually called him to apologize, he was completely hurt. Nicki didn't understand how Safaree could believe anything Drake had to say, especially after he seen how mad Drake had become after he called her "Baby". SB didn't have anything to say. The whole ride home from the Jewelry store was completely quiet, except the sniffing that was coming from Nicki who had been crying. When they got home Safaree had went straight up the steps and into his room. Nicki had been trying for the past 20 minutes to get him to open the door so that she could talk to him.


"Nicki just go to your room and just leave me alone, I really don't wanna hear anything  you have to say", Safaree said in a soft voice, but loud enough so that Nicki could hear him.
"Why are you treating me this way? I need you to talk to me", Nicki said through her tears. "If you talk to me I can tell you the truth of what really happened, but I can't do that if I leave you alone." Nicki didn't hear any movement going on in his room nor did she hear him say anything. She dropped her head and slowly walked to her room. She didn't know what she could do to get him to talk to her, so she gave up. She laid down in her bed and thought back to the night Drake called. "Why didn't I just tell him". 
Safaree was sitting on the edge of his bed trying to figure out what was going on. Everything just happened so  fast that he couldn't understand it. He didn't hear Nicki at his door anymore and figured she finally gave up. He knew she was crying and honestly he didn't want that. She had been crying every since she begged him to leave the store and wasn't making it any better by shutting her out. He got up, opened his door and headed for Nicki's room. When he got to her door he could hear her small cries. He opened the door and walked over to the chair in her room and sat down. 




"Nicki?" Safaree said, watching her pop her head up and turn towards him. 
"Faree, when did you get in here?"
"It doesn't matter. I wanna know what happened"
"Ok." Nicki wiped the tears from her face and took a deep breath. 
"The night that I came into your room and got in your bed was the night he called. I never look at my screen when I answered it because I was annoyed that who ever it was just kept calling for about 5 minutes straight. I answered the phone and Drake just went on and on about him being sorry and how he didn't mean to hurt me. I told him that nothing he said mattered and to just stay out of my life. Well.....he didn't like that. He told me  that he really shouldn't be calling me apologizing and that if anyone should be apologizing it should be me. He said that he owned me and that he should have pushed me a little harder onto the table and maybe that would have knocked some sense into me. I got really scared and hung up the phone and thats when I went to your room." 
Safaree looked at Nicki and could see that she was trying so hard not cry.
"Come here" Safaree said. Nicki got off of the bed and walked over to SB. He pulled her on top of his lap and pulled her into his arms. "So is that why you wanted to change your number?"Nicki shook her head yes. "Why didn't you just tell me when it happened baby?"
"Because I was scared Safaree, I've seen you mad before and I didn't want to get you worked up and upset at 3 something in the morning. I figured that it would go away. I just wanted to forget about him and anything that was associated with him."
"So he really did call you didn't he?" SB asked.
"Yes"
"Why didn't you say something after he said that you called him? By you being quiet, it made me think that it was true because you wasn't trying to deny it."
"I was in shock baby. I couldn't believe that he would just blatenly lie like that, and actually think it was ok.But...im sorry thatI kept it from you."
"Yeah babe you can't keep things like that away from me, and that was something that I needed to know. I just want you to be able to tell me anything besides of how you think Im going to react, you should be able to come to me."
Nicki was listening to everything safaree was telling her. He was right. She shouldn't be keeping anything from him, big or small. 
"Ok baby, i promise to never keep anything from you. I don't want us to have to pull teeth to be able to get information out of each other. I want it to be natural, so when ever we need to tell each other something, no matter how serious, we won't hesitate", Nicki said.
She leaned  in and kissed his lips. She pulled back and gave him the prettiest smile he had ever seen. 
"So is there anything that you need to tell me?", Nicki asked.
"No baby, and if there is i won't think twice about telling you."
Nicki was about to kiss Safaree again when the ringing of her phone interrupted. She got up and went to get her phone off of the bed to see who it was. It was Candi.
"Hello" Nicki said.
"Hey Nicky Mouse I have a question"
"Ok whats up?"
"Have you talked to Lauren lately?", Candi asked.
"No I haven't. Come to think of it the last time I talked to her was at the get together we all had" 
"Well I'm kind of worried about her, she hasn't reached out to any of us and that isn't like her, maybe something is wrong."
"I think that if something was wrong she would have contacted us",Nicki said.
"Well has SB talked to her",Candi asked.
Nicki turned to Safaree and saw that he was falling asleep in the chair.
"Safaree have you talked to Lauren lately?"
"No", Safaree said.
"No he hasn't spoken to her either Cand"
"Well I think imma go over there and see if she's ok.", Candi said.
"Ok call me and let me know whats going on when you get there",Nicki said.
"Alright"
"Bye"
Nicki walked over to Safaree and kissed him on his cheek.
"Baby come lay down with me" Nicki said.
Safaree got up, walked to the bed with Nicki and climbed in. They cuddled up and both fell asleep.

Lauren's House 




Candi had just pulled up to Laurens house, hoping that everything was alright. She dug in her pocketbook for her phone to try and call Lauren one more time, but noticed she left her phone at home. She got out of the car and walked to her front door. She knocked once but didn't get an answer. When she went to knock again Lauren opened the door.


"What are you doing here?",Laren asked. 
"Uhm I came to check on you, I have been trying to reach you for weeks now", Candi said.
"Well as you can see im fine, now can you leave please?" 
"No im not going any where until we talk, whether you like it or not." Candi brushed past Lauren into the house and sat on the couch. 
Candi noticed that the house was rather junky and smelled pretty bad.


"Ughhh what died in here?? Shit it smell like seaweed and fucking pork skins" Candi said covering her nose.
Lauren crossed her arms and gave Candi the death stare. Candi noticed that Laurens eyes were bloodshot red, her hair wasn't done and she looked like she had just got in to a brawl with 5 pitbulls.
"Lauren whats going on with you?" Candi asked.
"Nothing Candi please do not start with the 21 questions, im not in the mood and I really don't feel like talking to anyone." Lauren had been in the house for a little over a month.No one had heard from her and she didn't try to contact anybody to let them know she was ok. 
"Look I don't care if your in the mood or not. And im not just anybody im your BEST friend, and im worried. This isn't like you so  I know something is wrong now TELL ME!" 
Candi was frustrated that Lauren was trying to get her to leave and not talk. She had never seen Lauren like this and honestly it was scaring her.
"NOTHING IS WRONG NOW LEAVE!!!!!!!", Lauren screamed.
"NO, IM NOT GOING NO WHERE TILL YOU TELL ME WHAT THE FUCK IS UP WITH YOU."
Lauren ran upstairs to the bathroom and ran back down.
"You wanna know whats wrong with me, you really wanna know?"
"YES I DO, THATS WHY IM FUCKING ASKING", Candi said.
"THIS IS WHATS WRONG WITH ME" Lauren slammed down the pregnacy test on the table that was in front of Candi. Lauren began to cry just looking at the stick.
"OH MY GOD YOUR PREGNANT!!!"
"I was....", Lauren said in a low tone.
"Was?? What do you mean was?"
"I-I......"
"You had a miscarraige?", Candi asked. 
Lauren dropped to her knees and her sobs became uncontrollable.
"I just wasn't ready for a baby Candi. I wasn't ready to be a mom and I didn't want to bring a baby in this world and it be abondoned by its own mother!", Lauren said. Candi looked at her confused. She had no idea what lauren was talking about.
"Wait, Lauren what are you saying?"
"I HAD AN ABORTION", Lauren screamed. Candi's eyes grew wide.
"You what??", Candi asked.
"You heard me"
"When? And why didn't you tell me?"
"About a month and a half ago, and I didn't tell you because I dont want people to know that I killed  my child."
Candi walked over to Lauren and pulled her into her arms.
"Sweety you cannot beat yourself up over this. Now you know im not for abortions but this was your decision. You did what you thought was best for you, you cant allow yourself you constantly block out your whole life because of this one mistake.
"I know but it just hurts so bad and I feel so guilty", lauren said.
"I know it hurts but you'll be ok. I just wish you would have said something to me cause you know I would have been there for you."
"I was ok"
"Apparentley you wasn't okay. Who was the father?" Candi asked.
Lauren sat up and wiped her face, she thought about what she was about to say and began to mess with her fingers.
"Uhhmm it was a guy at the get together we went to" Lauren said.
"At Nicki's House?"
"Yeah", she replied.
"Who? What was his name?"
"I dont know, we were drunk and when we were finished he uhh just left."
"So you don't know who you slept with? And HE doesn't know that you were pregnant?" Candi asked.
"No and no", she lied.
"Well I sure as hell hope this didn't happen in Nicki or Safaree's room. Do you at least remember where yall had sex?"
"We uhh ....were in the guest room" she said quickly.
"Well its over now,and I really want my friend back and so does everyone else. I miss you and I dont like to see you hurt." 
Candi could tell that Lauren wasn't telling her something. Lauren would always look down and play with her fingers when she was hiding something. But Candi wasn't going to ask her about it. She was going to find out on her own.
"Thank you for coming to check on me, even though I still feel like shit, I feel better then what i felt before."Lauren said.
"No problem babe, im gonna go now. I want you to try and clean up some and even try showering", they both laughed.
"Ok, I think Im gonna do that." Lauren said.


Candi hugged lauren and told her how much she loved her. 
"Call me if you need anything", Candi said. She walked out of the house and got into her car. She waved goodbye to Lauren as she drove off. 
Lauren turned around back into the house and closed the door. She was relieved that she talked to someone and got most of the guilt off of her chest. Suddenly Lauren realized that she didn't tell Candi not to say anything to anybody, but remembered that Candi would  never tell anyones business no matter who it was. And even though Safaree and Nicki were her bestfriends too, she didn't even want them to know. 
Little did she know thats exactly where Candi was headed.
